About the Project
The CrADLE project aims at developing and expanding the competencies of teachers who educate the elderly (54+) in specialized visual expression workshops with an emphasis on using innovative solutions as tools and teaching methods. The specificity of the program that will be developed through this project is that it will educate those teachers who carry out educational programs for the elderly (54+). During the project we have already developed curriculums for 11 creative workshops. We will also create a manual for teachers who educate the elderly. The manual will enable educators to acquire additional competencies for teaching the elderly more adequately and efficiently. It will focus on teaching methodology and guidelines on how to understand the elderly, their needs, and problems. The manual will also be of great value to younger teachers. Furthermore, teachers will be able to share this newly acquired knowledge with colleagues in their schools and institutions where they work.
